Whats a better Rear Derailleur…Sram or Shimano?
I am looking at mtbs and i was wondering of the two which is a better rear derailleur . The Sram X-5 or the Shimano Deore ?
personally, i prefer SRAM, but both are about equal quality. you should be looking more at the frame geometry, v-brakes vs disc, hydraulic vs mechanical disc, or the cranks as more of a determinant on what bike to choose. since the bikes you are looking at come with X-5 and Deore, it probably won’t come with a good fork, but if you could upgrade to a fox 32, it would be a wiser investment. as far as derailleurs, look at the shifters, some people like trigger and others prefer twist.
Shimano XTR or Sram X.0 ?????????
