my horse just started using a figure eight bridle can i show with it?
The figure eight bridle seems to be working good as it puts pressure not just in the mouth, but i am wondering if i could show with it in equitation, and if not what opinions do you guys have on what to do? My horse is very strong and a tb who hates bits with curb chains he is in a ported myler now and its nice because its strong without the chain, thats why got the figure eight, more control without a huge bit.

Gahh, to the first poster, hunters is NOT equitation. 
Yeah, you can show in eq with a figure eight bridle. 
But, not hunters.
