How to get started working for a company like Orvis or Simms?
I have always loved fly fishing and believe working for a company like Orvis or Simms would be a great career.. I am currently a College Student in Western Colorado and plan on earning a degree in business.
What kind of employees are these company’s looking for?
What kind of degree would help me become a sales rep/ or something along those lines?

Both are very large companies which use regional and local sales rep along with marketers, product research specializes and etc.
Generally they will require a min. of a bachelors/business degrees.
Check out Orvis web site, or maybe Simms website!!! They should on the very bottom have a human resources link, an employment link, or a contact us.
Write to someone and build a repore.. finding someone to help you along and willing to help you work inside the company.
Networking bro, talk to the local fly shop about who there Orvis rep is. Get to know him, talk to him and get to know how he got hired…. maybe go fishing with him a few times and etc.
