Which naked sports bike gets the best gas mileage?
By a “naked sports bike” I mean a sport-type motorcycle with no fairings.
I’d expect the most economical one sold in the US to be the Hyosung Comet 250, given it has the smallest engine. If you aren’t willing to touch Korean made bikes (and I definitely wouldn’t recommend a Communist Chinese bike even if it does get better mileage!), check out a Buell Blast.
The Honda Nighthawk 250 is also pretty economical, and a naked bike, but the way Honda’s fitted it with drum brakes makes its sport status debateable.
