What do you call those suede-like/velvet lining inside the jewelry box? Is it a paper or a cloth?

It is called flocking and you can buy it in a craft store that sells craft paints. I believe Plaid and FolkArt might be two of the brands. It is actually painted onto the inside of the jewelry box dries into a nice soft suede-like finish. The only other way of lining a jewelry box is to buy velveteen from a fabric store, cutting the pieces to fit the walls of the box and gluing the pieces in place.
