Will Birth control help with super heavy periods?
I am 15 years old and my period is so heavy it seems like I will go trough a super tampon in 3 hours. My mom said if I wanted to I could but she said this a while back. I do not want it for sex I don’t even plan on having sex before I am married. Will Birth control help this? Will it help cramps to? if it will help how do I tell my mom?
For some ppl it has been known to make ur periods shorter and lighter might even stop completely. For others it can make their periods longer I had a 30 day period on the depo provera shot. Now im on the nuva ring and I don’t have a period at all. When I first got on it I used to spot for about 3 days but sometimes the longer u use birth control the lighter ur periods get. It just depends on both the person and the type of birth control u decide to take
