Israel using tactical nukes against Iran’s nuclear facilities?
In the situation where Israel strikes Iran’s nuclear facilities, which means that they believe America wont strike Iran. It appears that Israel are almost certanly going to use tactical nuclear weapons. For the Israeli’s, they only get one chance, there is no second go for Israel and unlike the US, they can’t launch repeated heavy strikes. Also, the bunker buster bombs might not be enough to penetrate places, such as Natanz built deep underground, and there’s not enough Israeli aircraft to carry enough bunker buster bombs to the target. Basically meaning the only option left, is nukes. In this case Isaeal will carry low yeild tatical nukes (small by nuclear terms) on board its f16/f15′s and drop them on the nuclear facilities.
So what do you think of this? Your thoughts and views please?
PS. Something a lot of anti-war protestors miss interprit, these tactical nukes will be only used on the nuclear facilities, this is not indiscrimnate nuking of civilans.
Israel has already conducted airstrikes on two nuclear facilities. One in Iraq and the other in Syria. In neither case did they use nuclear weapons of any kind. There is no reason to believe they would in an attack on Iran either.
