Question for classic car gurus?
I got a set of taillights lying around and i have no clue what kinda of a car they came off of. They are about 5 foot wide and V shaped. I was thinking an old thunderbird. but i havent found a year that match these tail lights. does anyone know?
it is one piece. and perhaps i should have typed 5 foot long.

i found a chrysler penstar on them
do you have a picture of the taillights?? it would be easier than trying to guess and sending you say 20 pictures…

are just a few that kinda match your desciption
look closer at the tail light is there any markings like a part # stamped into it???
Chrysler Plymouths and Dodges would be something like a 6-78 digit # starting something like 28——–
ford Mercury and lincoln start something like DE or D9

Very good now we’re getting somewhere narrowed down to manufacturer… most likely near where you found that penta star there is a number which will help too…
Note guys he said this taillight is Veed sort of and it also says one piece not 2 separate tail lights…
that means mid to late 60′s to early 80′s most likely and Penta star means Chrysler, Plmouth or Dodge only
Your Mystery taillight is probably one of the following Cars…
1966/67 Dodge Charger
1968 Polara 500 or Monoco 500/convertible
1970 Chrysler Imperial
1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst Edition
1967 Coronet R/T or 500 Edition…
All are pretty rare … let me know what you find out it actually is
