Taxidermy – Bobwhite Quail eye size?

What would be a standard adult Bobwhite quail eye size in mm?
The taxidermy supplier I am using only has one Bobwhite manikin size 4 1/4 X 7 1/4.
I’d like to order an eye set that is proportional to body size.
This my first Quail mount, Unfortunately the quail was skinned and frozen back in November and I don’t have the body or eyes to reference.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

According to this scientific paper (see the table on page 764 – 6th page of the document –> http://fishlab.ucdavis.edu/Schmitz09.pdf ), eye diameter for this species (Colinus virginianus) is 12.9 mm. You’ll also find data for many other birds in that paper that may be useful for your future projects.
Good luck with this mount!
