Team Cycling
I am considering Team in Training, but am overweight, what is best to train for cycling or running?

Team In Training is supposed to be for all fitness levels. But I am concerned about putting extra stress on my joints due to the excess weight. I am not sure if it is better to train as a runner or a cyclist, since both will undoubtably address my weight issues.

Cycling is easier for heavier people as you can put your weight on the seat therefore taking the pressure off your joints. Whereas running involves carrying all of your weight. Also you can fit cycling into your daily routine easier (such as riding to work), so you will be exercising more, increasing your fitness levels and reducing your weight. Plus you wont be using a car so you’l be helping the environment
