Flashlight/Torch use/carry…?
Is it legal in the UK to carry a torch on a belt clip/holster to use as a light in an emergency or whenever it is needed… i am not talking about a emergency keyring torch/flashlight i am talking about a maglight or tactical flashlight such as a flashmax g177 or a solarforce or surefire on a belt clip/holster?

Flashlights are legal to own and carry for a legitimate purpose
Now, if you try to beat someone with one then you’ll get in trouble. The same goes for toasters.
The point is, don’t do anything illegal and you’ll be fine (although it might be suspicious if you carry a large one during the day for no logical reason).
