What weight of line should i use when fly fishing on a lake?
Assume the fish biting will vary from:
18 inch small mouth bass -to- 25 inch northern pike.
8# leader, should suffice
I make my own, starting with 10# mono, then at the fly end, use either 6 or 8 #, depending on what i am fishing for
