Why is My Tru-Spec BDU’s Fading?
I have Tru-spec woodland BDU’s. Both the pants and the jacket are 60/30. I got my first pare about 1 year ago. since then the pants haven’t faded at all, but the first jacket faded so bad i had to get a new one (Tru-spec 60/30). i have only worn the second one twice and it is faded to the point that i need another new one. i was wondering if it was the material that it was made out of or if it was Tru-Spec’s BDU’s. What should i buy so it dose not fade? Should i try proper?

BDUs are supposed to fade. That’s how we could tell the new kids from old guys. But the tops and bottoms should be fading fairly evenly. Sounds like you should have bought military issue, instead of “Tru Spec.”
You can get military issue at any military surplus store, and online. It’s cheaper, anyway.
